Amy is an illustrative textile artist based in York. Her work is applique based and inspired mostly by the natural world. She runs her own company, Beaks and Bobbins, developing and selling greetings cards and embroidery kits.

Pat currently lives in North Uist, the Outer Hebrides where she runs workshops on patchwork and quilting. Her work is widely exhibited in the UK, Europe and the USA and captures the essence of her view of a country or city. Her talk tonight features the resourcefulness of Ghanian artisans.
